Harriet is an expert in development communication, public relations, gender and development, poverty and development. She is a team player able to communicate concisely and is equipped with good interpersonal skills.
Harriet has worked as a volunteer for UMWA for several years, lending her skills in the areas of news editing, news reporting and anchoring for Mama FM, producing and presenting programs for the station. She has represented UMWA at several fora and written reports.
Harriet has been involved in planning and organizing workshops, trainings, public awareness and educational campaigns. Harriet has been involved in several researches including; the problem of HIV/AIDS as not only a social problem but an economic burden. The other research was on the social economic constraints hindering business management among women vendors.
Harriet is a holder of a Bachelors degree in Development Studies at Makerere University Kampala. She also has a Diploma in Journalism from the Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
